Proxima is a specialised manufacturer of technical plastic films, and strives to enhance the integration of rigid and flexible packaging.
It was founded in Val Basento in 2022 from the reconversion of an industrial site with a long history in the food packaging sector.

With extensive experience in the food packaging sector, Proxima has embraced the new demands of the market, becoming a new player in the integrated production of rigid and flexible plastic films, with pioneering machinery, highly specialised staff and sector certifications: Plastica Seconda Vita and BRCGS.
Aware of the importance of integrating recycled materials to reduce the environmental footprint of its packagings, Proxima has obtained the Plastica Seconda Vita certification — Italy’s official label for recycled plastic content.
Furthermore, it is also certified by BRCGS, the Global Food Safety Standard that provides guidelines for managing the safety, integrity, legality and quality of products.
